W. Andrew Jarrett was born in Hinesville, Georgia on June 19, 1987. He grew up in Athens, Georgia and has lived in Atlanta since 2014.
Andy received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Economics and minor in Political Science from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee in 2009. While at the University of the South, Andy played football and was a member of the Order of the Gownsmen.
After returning to Georgia, Andy attended the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens, where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 2014. During law school, Andy gained experience working as a law clerk to the Honorable Patrick Haggard of the Western Judicial Circuit and as an intern with the general counsel’s office of St. Mary’s Hospital.
Andy was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia shortly after his graduation from law school. He is licensed to practice in all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Andy practices almost exclusively in the area of insurance defense litigation, particularly the representation of employers, insurers, self-insured companies, and servicing agents in workers’ compensation claims throughout Georgia.
Outside of work, Andy enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching UGA and Falcons football, and playing golf.
