Ellen Begley grew up in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2013 from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and stayed at Mercer to pursue her legal degree, in 2016 receiving her Juris Doctor from there. She was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia shortly thereafter, but moved, first, to Richmond, Virginia, where she pursued business development for several technology start-up firms, and then to Washington, D.C., working for a firm specializing in federal contracting.
Shortly after returning to Georgia, Ellen joined Sutton Law Group, where she is a civil litigator, representing individuals, businesses, insurers, self-insured companies, and servicing agents throughout Georgia for general liability claims. She is licensed to practice in all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, and the Georgia Supreme Court.
Outside of work, Ellen enjoys hiking, camping and kayaking with her dog, Quinn, learning new craft skills, baking, and fly fishing.
